Halloween Happenings in Ferndale

Halloween is just around the corner and the Ferndale Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present many activities to keep the Ferndale community entertained!

Pumpkin People
ferndale-grocery-outletFerndale businesses are encouraged to put together a pumpkin person. These should be up by October 24. A Pumpkin Person winner will be announced October 31 and will receive a prize as well as a social media shout out.

Downtown Trick or Treat
Join us for the best trick or treating experience in Ferndale!
This free, fun and safe outdoor event takes place on Saturday, October 29 from 3-5 p.m. along Main Street and draws over1,500 children from all over Whatcom County.
With over 40 stops at local businesses there will be plenty of candy to go around.
Maps can be picked up after October 20 at the Ferndale Chamber of Commerce, Ferndale Mini Mart and at the Ferndale Public Library or online.

Haunt the Park
In addition to Downtown Trick or Treat, we are proud to present our second annual Haunt the Park, co-hosted with the Ferndale Heritage Society. In our first annual event, held in 2015, we saw over 1,300 attendees. Kids and their families head down to Pioneer Park directly after Downtown Trick or Treat from 5-7pm for trick or treating of the historic decorated cabins, carnival themed family-fun activities, as well as some creepy zombies!
