Ferndale Street Festival

Considered one of the best community events in Ferndale, the Street Festival take place the last weekend in August and provides family fun for everyone.  On Friday night we shut down just one street and open up the food vendors, live music and beer and wine tent from 6 pm to 11:30 pm.  On Saturday, we amp it up just a bit and close down Main Street and several side streets to create one of the best festivals in the Northwest.  With over 120 vendors, a Festival of Fenders Car Show, Kid’s Street with a live Kid’s Stage, fire trucks, dunk tanks, and live music all day and night, this festival is one you don’t want to miss.  2016 added the fun of the Whatcom North Rotary’s Rubber Ducky Race but don’t miss it’s rival, the gold fish races at Outlaw’s Saloon!  We try to create an almost free family atmosphere with free bouncy house, crafts, petting zoo and money hunt in the hay for the kids and on Kid’s Stage, Reptile Isle has been a staple since 2009.  This festival brings thousands of patrons to our downtown corridor and fills our local businesses, meeting our mission of bridging commerce and community!
